Work From Home

Did you know it was “Bring Your Pets To Work” Day today? That is if you work from home like me ūüôā
If you want to spend all day with your fur-babies (or real babies) you CAN!

Are you a natural-born entrepreneur?
A leader?
Determined?
Focused?
A self-starter?
A go-getter?
Creative?
Willing to learn?
Willing to try?
Willing to take risks?
Willing to get uncomfortable and grow?
Wanting to help others with health, fitness and motivation?
Do you want to be your healthiest (mentally and physically)?
Do you want financial and time freedom for your family?
Are you frustrated with your career and life routine in general?
Do you feel like there is more to life than just working all…day…long?

That was me.  Wanting something different.  Wanting something that was MY OWN.  Knowing that I had the skills and ability to create something.  Something that would reward me emotionally and financially.  I made a HUGE leap of faith and will not be turning back.  I am starting a business and loving every minute of the newness, the excitement, the energy, and the hope for the future.  I would love for you to join my team if you are like me and want more from life!

When and How You Should Start

Are you like me?! Do you tell yourself “I’ll start tomorrow” or “I’ll start Monday” or “I’ll start after the holidays” or “I’ll start __________”. QUIT doing that! You are sabotaging yourself. A healthy lifestyle is not a start and finish process. You DO have to start (and there will most likely be MANY “starts” but there is NO FINISH.

When and how should you start?  I have an online Facebook Fitness and Nutrition Challenge Group starting monthly for people working through a fitness program and nutrition plan all from the comfort of your own home.

Along with the daily workouts, the programs comes with a nutrition plan that is heavily focused on portion control, a daily superfood nutrition shake (no chemicals, artificial sweeteners, etc.), and good old fashioned clean, healthy eating! No quick fixes! Just hard work, dedication, and determination!

I lead the group by posting daily and challengers (that’s YOU) check-in daily with me posting about workouts, how the day went eating-wise, etc. We motivate each other. We share struggles and accomplishments. We exchange ideas, tips, and recipes, etc. After losing nearly 60 pounds myself, I know the power of group support and accountability. That is one of the main reason I decided to become an online coach!

Along with the group on Facebook, you will also (if you choose) have access to try 30 days of online streaming where you can try many other home workout programs on your computer – so you can get a ton of variety!

Does this kind of thing sound like something you think you would benefit from? ANSWER: YES!!!

Start Before You Are Ready

IMG_4883As some of you know, getting up early is not easy for me. ¬†However, I am proud to say that TWO days in a row now I have been up at 6:00! ¬†Thank you to Chris for helping with this. ¬†Lately, I have been a BIG proponent of following this advice…

Start-Before-Youre- Ready

Of all the lessons I have learned in life, this one is pre-tty, pre-tty important! ¬†Start BEFORE you are ready. ¬†With ANYTHING that I have been wanting to do lately, I follow this motto. ¬†Don’t get me wrong, my brain often gets trapped in the “planning” phase. ¬†I am now much more aware of how much time I spend THINKING about something I want to do rather than just DOING IT! ¬†No more wasting time planning (because things never go as planned anyway). ¬†Plus, the sooner I jump into something, the sooner I get to the fun parts – making mistakes and LEARNING how to get better at it.

So, yesterday I found myself planning out how I would start implementing a daily morning routine. ¬†I was going to make a list, prioritize, plan out how much time each item would take, blah, blah, blah…then I became aware of what I was doing. ¬†NO MORE PLANNING…JUST START DOING!!! ¬†So I did. ¬†This morning I got up and just started doing things that I WANT to do in the morning. ¬†It went well. ¬†Here is the order in which¬†things happened:

1) Chris pulled covers off me

2) Groaning and begging to sleep 15 more minutes (NO РGET UP!!!!)

3) Poured coffee like a zombie and let myself truly wake up while I sat on the couch with NO social media

4) After the magic of coffee kicked in, I cleared the sink of dishes and got Chris’s shake and coffee ready

I knew I needed to feel more AWAKE so…

5) Put real clothes on (normally I mope around in my bathrobe in the morning), brushed my teeth, put  my hair up, and hung up the bathrobe

I want to start meditating in the morning so I thought “maybe I should get online and research apps.” ¬†NO – JUST FIND ONE, DOWNLOAD IT, and START! ¬†So I did.

6) 5 minutes of guided meditation with the first free app that popped up

7) Did my itty bitty workout while listening to a short 10 minute personal development podcast

8) Reread my journal (which includes my goals, daily affirmations, and other fun happy things)

9) Daily journaling/blogging (doing it right now ūüôā )

And after this…the BEAST

10) Daily workout – I WILL start doing this in the AM – no more procrastinating!
